Fluid Flow, Heat and Mass Transfer using FEniCS
We are working on solving unsteady flow of power-law nanofluid in cavity using FEniCS.
We choose to use FEniCS after we found out this open-source, powerful package helps alot in solving partial differential equations (PDEs) using finite element method.
We also have several successful experience in solving several fluid mechanics problems using FEniCS.
The works are published here and here.
Convective Micropolar Fluid Flow over a Surface of Another Quiescent Fluid
This phenomenon is not simply existence of two fluids in a physical system.
This is where we have upper and lower fluids with different properties and the lower fluid is tend to not move (velocity 0) as it goes far away from a surface that separates the fluids.
We are solving this problem in steady-state and the ordinary differential equations (ODEs) are solved using shooting technique.
The numerical scheme is coded in Python 3 language using Jupyter Notebook.
One of the works is published here.
Looking forward to collaborate and supervise in these areas.
